Animations of real data
Example of rapid rotation of the magnetic field observed by
CLUSTER spacecraft.
The red and green axes schow the X and Y axes in GSE coordinates (see definition in the document
ROCOTLIB).
The evolution of the blue arrow over time shows the direction of the local magnetic field.
The sudden rotation of this field leads to the production of an electric current (in white).
This other example below shows a series of noise spectra (in the absence of phenomena)
on alternative magnetometer
STAFF of
CLUSTER spacecraft.
The animation of fifty spectra calculated during quiet periods shows the stability of
the background noise, and thus the sensitivity of the instrument.
